Episode 29: How Do You Deal With Different Family Personalities?

Sonia T. is currently in New Orleans and Sonia C. just left Colorado after attending her mother’s funeral service, and Sabrina is out this week as she just had a new baby. Sonia’s mother has been a big teacher throughout her and her children's lives. The original Sonia went out with a bang on 4th of July. In traditional Sonia fashion! 

This week’s theme is about: The passing of the original Sonia and the energy around it. 

There are six siblings in Sonia C’s family, and each one of them saw a different mom. So after her passing, there was a lot of meshing of different personalities and expectations of what to do ‘about mom’ in the household. Because everyone was scattered across the world, the siblings were having some very vital and important conversations via text; which Sonia C. hates! The texts Sonia C. were reading were really triggering her. 

The worst things that happen are actually in our imagination. Sonia T. agrees. She made an agreement with her sister, Sabrina, that if they actually need to talk about something important, they will call one another; and not text! It’s so interesting to see the contrast between text conversations and real, live human conversations. Sonia C. had a lot of energy around her siblings, but the moment she saw them, it all melted away. It’s as if that intense texting never even happened!
